In Stock — Ready to Ship

Meet LIFTER Crispies, the easiest way to sneak more protein into the foods you already eat. One ingredient, milk protein isolate, gives you a complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids, BCAAs included.

Every bag comes with a scoop, usually right near the top, though it can occasionally settle toward the bottom, so give it a dig if you don't spot it right away. Start with a single scoop for a light protein boost, or go full 3-scoop serving for 21g of protein when you want more. It's flexible, so you use as much or as little as fits your meal.

They stay crunchy wherever you put them: yogurt, oatmeal, smoothie bowls, granola, salads in place of croutons, even baked goods. Melt some sugar free chocolate, stir in a scoop, and you've got a protein candy bar in minutes. (Best on solid or creamy foods, they'll soften if you drop them into soup or other liquids.)

Unflavored on purpose, so it never overpowers what it's mixed into. Zero added sugar, keto friendly, and built to boost what you're already eating, not replace it.

Fun texture adding protein with many possibilities

This is a great add-on protein ingredient with a lot of possibilities to add to foods. It works as a topper to add some texture and crunch to things from yogurt, to frozen desserts. It can also be used as an added ingredient if making bars, or baking. I found that they stay crispy in pretty much any scenario that I've added them to.

Delicious

Nice and crunchy and add additional texture to your yogurt. Great bang for your buck with high protein content, which is odorless. Best of all it’s also flavorless so it goes with any flavored yogurt. For me, I’ll do the yogurt granola and a banana along with these crispy, crunchy protein, pups. For the picture, unfortunately I did not have a banana, but I showcase everything else. It states it’s for 17 servings, but for me, it goes much further than that as this is a huge bag.

Reasonable serving size is ONE scoop and only 7 grams of protein

I particularly like that this is an unflavored and unsweetened crispy, crunchy protein supplement topping. This permits the topping to be added to sweet or savory or any flavor foods. The topping is small round "puffs" that are about the size of a BB. The texture and crunch remind me of crispy rice cereal. The only listed ingredient is Milk Protein Isolate. I was unfamiliar with the difference between whey and milk protein isolate (MPI). Whey is quickly digested, and good for post workout, where MPI contains about 89% casein with slow digestion. The topping has 18 of the 20 amino acids (missing two non-essential mono acids asparaine and glutamine). See picture. The item is only 4 stars because the topping gets soggy and gummy if the underlying food is wet or steamy. It does work well on Greek yogurt, oatmeal, grits, or cream of wheat. Another problem is that the serving size is unrealistic in order to list 21 grams of protein per serving. The serving size is 3 (THREE) scoops. See picture. Each scoop is actually 1/4 C; 3 scoops would be nearly a bowl of cereal. A more reasonable serving would be ONE scoop.

LOVE these crispies!

Wow, Delicious! These crispies are so good! They add a great crunch to everything, I've been adding them to yogurt bowls, desserts, even pbj sandwiches. Such an easy way to add more protein.

Puff puff paas

These protein puffs have a nice crunchy texture and make a convenient snack when you want something higher in protein. They have a light, crispy feel and are easy to grab on the go or keep around for a quick bite. The protein content is a nice bonus compared to typical snack foods, and the flavor is enjoyable without being overly heavy. They are a good option when you want something crunchy without reaching for traditional chips. The only reason I took off one star is that the flavor and texture may not be for everyone, especially if you prefer a more traditional snack. Overall, they are a tasty and convenient protein snack with a good crunch.

Picking them out of my teeth for a good hour.

I had a lot of hope for these given the protein content. I found them to be tasteless and left a sour aftertaste. I spent the next 45 minutes picking them out of my teeth. I tried mixing them with yogurt but I ended up choking them down and eventually abandoned the effort. Don't get me wrong the macros in these are incredible but I would not recommend eating them straight up given their lack of flavor and bad aftertaste.

Very tasty

Replaces the rice in my burritos with this. I can't go back now.

Didn't end up working out for me

I count macros and calories and I just couldn't find a good way to fit these into my day. I don't want to waste my precious calories on tasteless crunchy puffs. Also I just don't eat a lot of foods that I feel these would pair well with. Probably awesome for other people with different nutrition goals and tastes. They're perfectly fine and well packaged. Good texture if paired with the right foods.

Easy Protein Boost

These are a great way to add extra protein and a fun crunch! They have a light, neutral taste and are easy to incorporate. Perfect if you're looking for a simple, convenient protein boost! I love adding them to my yogurt.

Perfect Clean Protein Crunch for Bowls & Yogurt!

I tried the protein toppings, and they are an absolute game changer for my morning breakfast routine! Since they are completely unsweetened and unflavored, they blend effortlessly into my acai bowls, yogurt, and oatmeal without changing the delicious taste of the fruit or toppings. The texture adds the perfect crisp crunch that holds up without getting soggy too quickly, and getting 9 grams of premium protein per serving is such an easy way to hit my daily macro targets. The pouch is generous in size, high quality, and keeps everything completely fresh. If you want a clean, versatile protein boost for your meals without any unwanted extra sugar, these crispies are worth every penny!

Neutral Flavor; Crunchy Texture

I like to try things by themselves; these are very neutral flavor but a great crunchy texture. I ordered these as an addition to my morning oatmeal; most mornings begin with steel-cut oats. These are a great addition, they add a bit of crunch/texture. Oats are an incomplete protein; whey is not so the additional protein value is a nice benefit. A serving is three (3) scoops; I add a single scoop in the morning so this will last me about two (2) months. However I also find I add them to yogurt, fruit cups, and other things I simply desire a crunchy texture. These are unsweetened, so you really just get texture. Texture that is both healthy (unsweetened), high protein, and low carb.

Great Way to Add Protein to Any Meal

This product is exactly as advertised. Simply small unflavored puffs that are basically completely protein. They make a great addition to greek yogurt or any yogurt dish, adding a slight crunch to each bite. You can also make home made rice crispy treats with them, which end up being the perfect protein dessert. They are on the more expensive side, but as a once in a while treat it is worth it. Definitely worth a try if you are on the fence.

Crunchy topping

These little crispy protein puffs are a nice topping for cereal or yogurt. They are very similar to rice crispies, but they are round and just a little more firm than puffed rice. I bet you could mix some of these into rice crispy treats to add a little protein and you wouldn't notice the difference. So far I've put them on my cereal (granola) along with sliced banana and blueberries. They stay crunchy in milk so you don't have to worry about them becoming soggy and unappetizing. They are unflavored and I don't notice any flavor from them at all, just like rice crispies. I'm trying to get more protein in my diet since I'm training for a bike race and these will be a welcome addition to any meals where they make sense.

Awesome stuff

These things are awesome. Crunchy little balls made basically of protein and empty space. Think of them almost as crispy rice cereal, they have virtually no flavor and can be added to multiple recipes. I've tried them in yogurt, and they work like adding granola. You could out them on a soft-leaf salad to add some extra crunch in place of croutons. I bet you could even make rice crispy treats with them, or granola bars. The bag comes with a scoop, but mine was way down in the bag so I had to excavate it out. Serving size which is quite a lot. Chances are, if you're just sprinkling this on top of a dish or yogurt bowl, you will not need that much. Great product, good value.

LOVE THESE, serving size is HUGE!

As a middle aged woman who struggles to get in protein these are great. First off I do not always use the suggested serving size because I feel like that could almost be a whole meal for me. These remind me of rice Krispie's. I have mixed them into yogurt, protein ice cream, honestly I think you could eat it as cereal but don't hold me to that. I also think they would be a great addition to your own home baked treats or protein bars. i would get these again. The cost is good, the texture is great and the macros are amazing.

Convenient way to add additional protein to meals

I like these crispy protein puffs! I made a very tasty acai bowl with berries, bananas, and Greek yogurt. I like acai bowls because they are refreshing, but I have to add Greek yogurt; otherwise, there is almost no protein! These protein puffs help solve this a bit by adding more protein to fruit bowls, smoothies, oatmeal, and even some creamy soups, like tomato. They are almost flavorless, making them versatile for many dishes, which I like. It's not a complete substitute for protein, but it's better than nothing when you are in a rush and didn't get all your protein in a meal. I didn't experience any digestion issues when eating these, and it added a nice crunch to the soft, mushy textures in my acai bowl, so these are a good buy for your pantry!

These are awesome!

These remind me of Rice Krispy cereal. The texture and flavor is similar. 21 grams of protein that's not a shake or loaded with a ton of god-knows-what chemicals is truly amazing. I've used these as granola topper and like a bowl of cereal. The "cereal" got a little soft but not soggy. I am so tempted to make rice krispy treats next! What i really appreciate is these did not give me an upset belly at all. Especially coming from a single ingredient: milk. What I want to know is are these non-gmo or organic? Besides that these are amazing!

Very versatile protein booster

These are tiny, crunchy balls of whey protein isolate. They're like smaller, round, (tasteless) rice crispies full of protein. They taste like nothing at all, which makes them not desirable on their own but you can add them to a ton of different foods to boost protein. We've enjoyed them in yogurt, mixed in with milk and cereal, with fruit, etc. Anything that could use extra crunch and protein is on the table. I like the versatility here, but I will say that it takes three scoops of these to equal something like a Pure Protein bar, and that's a lot of crispies. That's too much to have with a bowl of cereal or a yogurt cup, in my opinion. I have also done the math on value (as far as protein per dollar) vs protein bars and the bars come out ahead. This bag at the time of writing gives you about 14g of protein per dollar, whereas my favorite protein bars give you 19g per dollar even when they aren't on sale. A big bag of whey protein is generally an even better deal, not to mention a dozen eggs, etc. These are not trying to be your main source of protein, but they are a fun, different, and satisfying way to dress up a bowl of fruit and yogurt. And they don't add any sugar! Overall, I like them and I think they're a cool idea.

Surprisingly versatile and really good texture

I've been putting these in my kids' yogurt and fruit purees to add some texture, and they work really well. They have a nice crunch similar to granola, but I especially like that they have little to no flavor, so they don't overpower whatever you're adding them to. They are easy to use, and the versatility makes them a nice addition to snacks and meals. The quality is good, and I think they're a good value for something with so many uses.

Alternative to protein shakes

This review is for the LIFTER brand of milk based protein balls. The one ingredient is milk protein isolate. Out of the package they are crunchy/crispy. The idea is you add a scoop to your food either before or after cooking to get an additional 21 grams of protein. Milk protein is one of my favorite sources of protein because of the dual action from whey and casein- whey for the short burst of blood spike protein level recovery and casein for sustained time release muscle building. The product is flavorless but it does alter the flavor consistency depending on what it is put into. I added a scoop to some split pea soup and pretty much ruined it as the balls turned to mush. IMO this goes best on things like salads or other food that allow this to retain its crunchiness. The crux with this product seems to be what foods I can add that to without ruining the flavor. Not sure if id buy this again.

Extremely easy to integrate into foods, good quality, good price...

100% Milk Protein Isolate(MPI). 100% nutritious, 100% delicious. These crunchy, unflavored, little balls of protein are amazing. At 21 grams per serving, these protein puffs are pure gold. I love the texture, and that there is no odd taste or bits of gummy texture. They are crisp and light. It is extremely easy to use this product to boost daily protein. I have used them on overnight oats and yogurt, as well as added them to my Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats. They are extremely versatile, and can even be used in savory dishes/snacks. The bag is good sized, and so far, has lasted me weeks. I think it's a great value for money, as high quality protein sources can be expensive. This one, per ounce, is extremely fair in price. I will definitely keep ordering this product, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality, versatile, protein supplement.

Finally something to add crunch without the carbs

I'm someone who wants crunch in just about everything, so I'm used to adding granola, nuts, cereal, or pretzels to a lot of foods. Of course doing that comes with extra carbs and sugars that turn something healthy like protein yogurt into a not-so-great choice. That isn't the case with these protein puffs. I added them to my yogurt and got a great satisfying crunch with barely any extra carbs and sugar, and boosted my protein intake to boot. No funky taste and I'm not tempted to eat out of the package like I am with granola! It's awesome that I can add it to savory or sweet foods, and I only need one product to do it. The only bummer is I didn't see a measuring scoop -- maybe it's buried. But ultimately I'm thrilled to have found and tried this.

Finally, a Crunchy High-Protein Food I Can Get Creative With

I absolutely love these little crunchy protein crispies. They have quickly become one of my favorite finds. I often eat lower carb, and one of the things I miss most is having something genuinely crunchy. These give me so many options. I have added them to a bowl with a blueberry smoothie, chia seeds, and other toppings to make something that feels more like an ice cream treat. I also have used them rolled up on peanut butter and apple when I am having a higher-carb day. There is so much I've done, and still can do, with these. I especially like how simple the product is. According to the listing, the protein comes from milk protein isolate, so you are getting a very concentrated protein ingredient without turning this into a traditional sweet protein snack. My biggest hesitation is the price. At $28.99 for one pound when I reviewed it, this is definitely expensive compared with simply buying protein powder. However, protein powder does not give me this texture or versatility, so I also understand why this is positioned as a different type of product. I love the packaging, the crunch, and how many different things I can do with them. Despite the price, I would actually get more of these again when I run out.

High Protein, Macro Friendly Crunch Protein Puffs With Clean Ingredients

I'm really impressed with this product because not only does it provide some fun crunch and novelty to my food, it has excellent macros and ingredients. Starting with the appearance, as you can see from my photo, the crunchy puffs are ivory colored, small and round shaped. If you taste them alone, they are pretty flavorless except for a mild taste of protein powder. When mixed with other ingredients, you don't taste anything and just notice the crunch. I've tried these added to yogurt, and I'm looking forward to trying them in other recipes. I like that they stay crunchy in yogurt and when baked, so the puffs don't get soggy. The macros are really impressive. In one serving of 3 scoops (which is 24 grams), you get 21 grams of protein with 0 grams of added sugar. There also are a lot of BCAAs in each serving. As for ingredients, it's very simple -- milk protein isolate which is 1% lactose so it's gentle on your stomach and easy to digest. Milk protein isolate is a blend of casein and whey proteins which is supposed to offer more sustained nutrition. This is a really innovative product, and I think it's a solid value for money with a premium price because it is a higher end product. I also appreciate the versatility in terms of how this can be used from yogurt, to baked goods, to trail mix snacks, etc. These protein puffs are great quality, thoughtfully designed, and really innovative as far as protein and health foods go.

Awesome idea, some quirks

I was super excited when I saw these pop up. After trying these puffs in a few different meals, I think there's some good to highlight and some bad. The good: One ingredient, extremely versatile amongst different meals, and an easy way to sneak in extra protein throughout the day. They're great in granola, yogurt, oats, and other snacks. Adds texture! This is one of my favorite parts, as I love crunch. The not-so-good: The serving size is quite big. When eating with a single cup of yogurt, one serving of the puffs overpowers the yogurt and makes the puffs feel less like a topping and more like some crunchy mixture. I personally did not enjoy this, as my bowl of yogurt and fruit felt overshadowed by the crispies. Additionally, due to the large serving size, they do start to leave an aftertaste. I don't notice it as much with a single scoop, but with the full three-scoop serving, it becomes noticeable. While it's not necessarily a "bad" taste, it lingers quite a bit and isn't the most pleasant. Overall, I think this is a great product with some limitations. It's a great topping for snacks or to include while baking, but the serving size fits more as a multi-serving snack than a single yogurt bowl or an additive to something like ice cream. I personally won't use the full serving anymore, but plan to still use it as a healthier way to add texture to some of my snacks.
